The food is always fresh, very tasty and the staff is very polite and pleasant. Their lunch is the best deal in town for a healthy sit-down lunch. I have tried all the owners since the original Taste of Siam and Sibsong is just as good as the original owners. The owners in between were terrible. Sibsong is a must try, especially if you live here in Lighthouse Point! We should all be patronizing our local businesses. more

Okay, first things first. The food here is AMAZING. Second, forget about your GPS! This spot is just north of Sample Road on Federal Highway in the Main Street Plaza, which means it's right in the center of town and impossible to miss. And finally, bring along a healthy appetite, because these folks don't skimp on anything and the menu is H-U-G-E. Yes, this table d'hote features Thai and Sushi, but there are plenty of pan-Asian options, too, like Pho Beef Noodle Soup, Teriyakis galore, Miso Tofu, and Shrimp or Calamari Tempura. Sushi, anyone? If the answer is yes, grab a seat at the sushi bar and watch Sibsong's pros in action creating Rolls and Hand Rolls, Sushi and Sashimi Combos, Specialty and Tempura Fried Rolls, and a la carte options to which you'll undoubtedly become addicted. What's cooking in the kitchen? How about Pad Thai and Pad Se-Ew, Duck or Sea Bass Curry, and Lobster Fried Rice. Look for Sushi, Tempura, Teriyaki and Thai Lunch Specials. Also look for a handpicked list of beers and wines, takeout, and catering services. P.S. Here's what one customer had to say, "My wife is Thai, and she has said, this is the most authentic Thai restaurant she has experienced in Florida. We both have traveled extensively along the eastern seaboard, from Florida to Maine, and as a third generation American, I can honestly say, that I am grateful for this restaurant as a benchmark by which all others will be compared." more

The best authentic Thai food!!\r My wife is Thai, and she has said, this is the most authentic Thai restuarant she has experienced in Florida. We both have traveled extensively along the eastern seaboard, from Florida to Maine, and as a third generation American, I can honestly say, that I am greatful to experience this restaurant, as a benchmark by which all others will be compared to. Aside from the food being consistantly superb, the service is genuine and always with a smile. Our waitress is attentive and friendly. The chef always comes out when he isn't busy, and greets us and asks how everything is. He takes great pride in his culinary skills as well as presentations. We have experiened only the freshest of ingredients. The sushi chef takes great care with his artistry and craftsmanship. I have never seen a more artful dragon roll, or fresher fish. I grew up by the ocean and have always lived by the sea. and so, I know how fresh fish is supposed to be. When the sushi chef is in between creations, it is always a pleasure to talk with him. He is very intelligent and a real pleasure to talk with on any subject. This restaurant is a real gem which I highly recommend to anyone of discerning tastes.... more

Being a native New Yorker, I'm spoiled. I admit it. I've lived in South Florida for over 10 years and still haven't found a Thai restaurant that thrills me. \r \r I went to Sushi & Thai Delight because I'm crazy about Mr. Green Tea Ice Cream and I found out this place serves it. So, I'm ... delighted! \r \r While there, I learned that it is under brand new ownership ... apparently only two weeks old. The service was very pleasant, the shrimp tempura roll was pretty good and fresh, although I'd like it better without that syrupy goo that was drizzled over it. \r \r The green tea was lukewarm and cost $2. I have never seen a sushi place charge for hot green tea. Other than that, prices were very fair. But I would request that if you're going to charge $4 for ice-cream, it ought to be more than one scoop.\r \r Over all, I would give them another chance and try more off their menu. I wish them good luck. more

New management, new ownership, who cares. Bad is bad. The opening week was their BEST week. Lets just put it that way. They are under their 2nd new management. The inside for some reason was a little unsettling though and needs extreme interior decoration/renovation. Felt like I was sitting in a wooden box. Waitress was OVERLY attentive to our table which was really annoying. Manager was welcoming and friendly. Its a shame because our 2nd visit here was definitely our LAST. I love squid with mixed vegetables whenever I go for thai, and this 2nd time around when I ordered it, it was the most horrible, fishy tasting dish I have ever had at a thai restaurant in my life.\r The veggies were fresh, but the squid was old and tasted old and almost blanched in chemicals to keep it fresh. Normally there is a very light brown/clear sauce that is mixed in to stir fry with the veggies, but this time around I received an extremely dark heavily black pepper tasting sauce with chunks of strange things in it. I think it may have been ginger because I took a bite and bit into something extremely overpowering: tasted like pounds of black pepper and overpowering ginger. I couldn't eat anymore, told our waitress, and all she did was offer me a FREE DESSERT. Sure, that should make up for a whole $14 lousy dinner that I couldn't bear to eat. This place won't be in business for long. You don't offer a dissatisfied customer a free DESSERT instead of comping & removing their meal for something different. more
