Fisherman's Village is a local attraction on the waterfront in marina del Rey. It has five restaurants and a handful of souvenir shops and quick service cafes. What to do? You can rent bikes here and take them on the 22 mile coastal South Bay Bicycle Trail; you can take a narrated harbor tour aboard a vintage yacht, rent boats and jetskis by the hour, join a Friday or Saturday night dinner dance cruise, Sunday brunch cruise, or Wednesday evening Summer Sunset Cocktail cruise; this place is fun if you look at it as a place to get out onto the water. It's all about the water not the land.
Pros: Affordable kayak rentals, bike rentals, harbor tours
Cons: Shopping is not here; place is run down, andd they should close the garbage cans
