Ive had my fair share of badly botched hair-donts in this lifetime. Some places might get the color right on a good day or the cut, but seldom both. What a discovery I made a year ago to find Charles LaRue at Umberto. He has the gift of both scissors and the bottle (color bottle not alcohol). He listens, imparts good advice but ultimately does what I want. The result, I leave the chair feeling like I got the best cut ever again and again. On those days when Im doing more than a roots touch up, the full two-color process with highlights and a cut, Umbertos sandwich counter is a salvation. If theres a hair in your food, its nice to know its yours and it was colored and cut just right.
