I have been a loyal client of CJ (Carl-James Cassaday) for 10 years. I started with him at Umberto Camden, followed him to Umberto LA and now, will follow him onto Gavert Atelier. He is the best colorist in town. Period. Any town, for that matter. My first consultation, he was kind, calm, down to earth and told me what he would suggest to do for my highlighted hair. However, he suggested I come back in a few weeks until I had more growth to work with. So, an honest to goodness artist who wasn't just after my cash--he could have easily done my hair anyway.
