IF YOU BOOK THIS PLACE, GET IT IN WRITING FROM THE COMMANDER - MIKE. Called him in November 2009 and discussed booking for a wedding reception on March 20. Went and looked at the place and Mike said to mail the deposit. Mailed the deposit check (which was not cashed). Called a couple weeks later and he said no problem, got you in the book. I figured he was just holding the check. A week before the reception, he said he never heard of me, said he wouldn't have told me to mail the check and accused me of pranking, cussed at me and hung up. I think he got offered more money and bumped us. 6 days to the wedding and no place to go!!
Pros: Inexpensive, decent looking place
Cons: lost bookings, no contract
