I chose Dr. Leggett because I perfered a Christian doctor. I saw him for several months and felt he was truly interested in me and helping me feel better and I felt comfortable with him. The reason I decided to find another doctor is because of Dr. Leggetts receptionist at the time. Each time I was there she was rude, curt, and disrepectful to me while making appointments for my next visit.
I talked with Dr. Leggett about this and he said this is always something we are striving to improve on.
However, her behavior did not change and she continued to be rude and disrespectful. When I had my last visit and was treated the same way I decided not to return and found another doctor who told me he had heard the same thing several times.
Its sad when one must decide not to continue with a doctor whom they like because the receptionist was allowed to continue to treat patients in this way.
The person greeting and handling patients appointments and questions is an important part of the patient being comfortable in this setting.
I would like Dr. Leggett to contact me as well as the other patients who have stated Michelle, his receptionist is rude, arrogant, disrespectful and down right hateful. I think Dr. Leggett owes ALL of us an explanation as to why he allows this person to continue to work in his office. I even had my present doctor tell me he has heard about her behavior MANY times. Dr. Leggett, being a christian, why do you allow this to continue?

I still believe the review from MINDOVER is from Michelle. Odd there are no other reviews which share her experience.
Pros: Dr. Leggett did nothing to improve his receptionists rude, disrespectful behavior.
Cons: Dr. Leggett is a kind man truly interested in his patients medical treatment
