If I could give this company zero stars, I would. We paid extra per month to have recycling service, only to look out the window during a pick-up one morning to see the garbage truck driver dumping our recycling IN THE GARBAGE TRUCK. (It goes in a separate recycling truck.) When confronted, the driver said he was just trying to help out his buddy driving the recycling truck because we were to far away from his route. Seriously. I was then extended a refund for what I paid up till then on recycling. Judging from my experience with Rumpke, this is common practice. They take money for recycling service but it goes in the same landfill as the garbage.
To add insult to injury, after I cancelled my service when we were moving across town, they ""accidentally"" forgot to cancel it in the computer, and my account was sent to collections. I have spent 3 days straightening that out, and still can't get a manager from Rumpke to actually send me written conformation that it has been taken care of. Each time I call the manager is ""out of the office."" This company is at best unprofessional, and at worst criminal. Never use this company!!! Cant stress this enough.
