Review content:
The main courses are just like your mother used to make, but the sides are all made without meat. This makes for a healthier meal yet the flavor does not suffer, in fact it might even be better. You can bring your vegetarian friends because there is a choice of ordering just the meat free sides with his wonderful cornbread. The decadent desserts are made on site by the owner, the only problem trying to not order them all.
The owner makes you feel as if you are sitting in his kitchen. It is like being invited to a party in his home hanging out with new friends. The restaurant is small and homey and a place I want to go to again and again.
Pros: The food is less fatty than traditional Southern cooking
Cons: You might have to wait for a table, but it is worth the wait
