Review content:
I have had a fabulous experience with the Summit Medical Group. As a cancer survivor, I have fairly complicated issues that must be handled by a variety of departments. I never have to worry about referrals for specialists as they take care of that behind the scenes. When my insurance company refused to pay for a medical test that the doctors said that I needed, my oncologist not only wrote the company to appeal their decision, he called the medical director at the insurance company to find out what the issue was and to fight for me. He did all this before I even knew that the insurance company had denied the test. They have assigned me a ""Breast Health Navigator"" who checks on me after I have tests and makes sure that I understand what is going on and that I am handling the stress well. Once, when I got a call late on a Friday afternoon to call the office for some test results, the calls were being referred to the switchboard because the office was closed. When I explained the situation, the switchboard got me through to the office so I wouldn't have to wait the weekend wondering what the results were (given they were positive, it was very helpful). I really couldn't ask for better care. I am also a fan of the pediatric group who has taken great care of my daughter. Cannot imagine taking her anywhere else.
