Review content:
I thought I was in luck when I found the dress I liked within an hour of trying on dresses. My experience then went DOWNHILL very quickly. We ordered the dress in March and were told it would be arriving in July. In July the owner told me the dress was in only to be told a few days later that it was someone else's dress and that my dress wasn't coming until August. I called in August and was told that the dress will be arriving that week. When I went in to try on the ?new? dress, the owner handed me a dress that looked old, dirty and gray. When I questioned it, she was adamant that it was the new one. There was a stain on the top of the dress which she tried to play off as from an accident when taking it out of the box! Upset & convinced that there must be a mistake, I checked the tracking # and my dress had not even been delivered. The next day when I confronted the owner she admitted that it was the sample and made up some unbelievable story about a mix up. Days later, I tried on the new dress. A couple of things-the tailor does not do the pinning which is a problem and you have to pay for the alterations in advance. Anyway, when the dress was ready I made an appt with the owner to pick up the dress for that Weds. After leaving work early to get there, the store was closed! I waited in the rain for a half hour and when I called the owner, she claimed that we never had an appt since she hadn't marked it in her book. When I complained about the ongoing problems, she started screaming at me, told me this isn't Kleinfelds and mistakes happen, that I was bothering her and then she hung up on me. Eventually I was able to get the dress from her but it cost me double to redo the alterations that her tailor messed up. It also cost me a lot of stress having to deal with her at all. While the prices there are better, save yourself from the nightmare- wedding planning is stressful enough...no need to deal with an extremely unprofessional and unorganized shop owner.
