Well I'm glad to see that this complaint board has been started. Almost three years ago I was getting married and was excited to find a place in Brooklyn that offered wedding gowns that were affordable. My first visit was a great, I tried on several dresses - found one I liked, but my sister found the same dress online for drastically less than what she was charging. In April (2004) I went to a bridal show where Myrjan Bridal was a vendor. She raffled $2,000 toward any dress of your choice - guess what I won! It was the absolute pits working with her - she didn't order the dress when she said she did, she didn't have any records of my dress being ordered. She was very unprofessional, always mean and needless to say I didn't get my dress until three weeks from my wedding - I literally had enough time to pick up my dress (after causing a scene and seconds from being arrested for vandalizing her shop), take it to a tailor which the tailor only agreed to bustle and not tighten it around the breast b/c of the detailing (the following week), take it to a cleaners to have it pressed (the week before my wedding) and put it on (the week of my wedding). Meredith never apologzied for the inconvenience or the troubles she caused and here's the funny part of the story - I still see her from time to time and she pretends not to notice me, but I know just like I remember her she knows exactly who I am. Despite the nonsense wih her, I was still able to make a beautiful bride. She a conartist and I wouldn't recommend anyone to do business with her.
