I used German & Japanese Auto Spec to change a battery for me. They're the only ones besides the dealer who dealt with Volkswagens. It was average, everything was average. I doubt I will go back there.
I had gone there originally when I thought my battery was going out, and Manuel quoted me a price. When I thought, "Oh my gosh, my battery is going out," I went back, and he said I wouldn't be able to get an appointment. Then, when I tried to call to see if the car was ready, the person I needed to speak to was helping another customer. I eventually got a call back.
It wasn't a great experience overall, it was okay. Obviously, this was my first time going there. In all fairness, a lot of this was me freaking out about the price. It was a lot of money, and I didn't have it. He just could have called.
