Review content:
I could not be happier with my experience at Bluefin. I live within walking distance and went for dinner with some friends before a Friday-night performance at Woodruff. The space is absolutely georgeous--while it looks sleek, the cream-colored couches for booths warms it up considerably. It looks cool, which could be interpreted as sterile, but there is still a coziness about it somehow. The sushi was top-notch. As another reviewer noted, when you walk in, you get the impression that you will be paying out the nose for food--not so. Prices were fair--not bargain basement, but not outrageous, either. Our service was a tiny bit slow, but very gracious and friendly. As far as the sushi, I must mention that the ungai (eel) was the best I've had in a long time. From an aesthetic point of view, the presentation of the food was simple but beautiful, down to the little soy sauce bowls. Watch your chopsticks--they're metal and the plates are not very conducive to keeping them in-check when you lay them down. They tend to roll off on the floor!! Great dining experience and I look forward to going back.
Pros: Ambience, Food quality
Cons: Parking
