No pretention here and that's what I like. As soon as I walked in I felt at ease, no feelings of not being ""hip"" enough. Just nice people with tons of skill. I am not going to go into great detail, but I highly recommend this place A) For the great haircut I got. I saw Carlos and he cut my hair exactly the way I wanted. I told him what I was looking for and then he gave his opinion of what would work best and did an awesome job fixing my severely mangled tresses. And B) Everyone is nice. I have been to 3 other ""highly"" rated salons that I found on Yelp and each one was worst than the last. I always felt too uncool in the other places, like my pants weren't tight enough or the cut I wanted wasn't asymmetrical. If you are looking for down to earth people that know how to cut hair then you should give this place a try. A little spendy but well worth it!
