Review content:
I'm not Indian, but I've eaten at Rangoli with many Indian and Nepali friends (the waitstaff is mostly Nepali) and they say that Rangoli is authentic and great. I can't vouch for that, but out of the dozen or so Indian places I've been to in and around Boston, Rangoli is the best. The service is fast and friendly, the menu is extensive, the food is consistently excellent, and the chef accomodates requests for more heat. I took a group of 20 there a while ago and the staff seated us before all had arrived and gave us the same great service they give to parties of two. I've lived in Boston for 16 years and have eaten at at least 100 restaurants. Rangoli is one of about three places I know I'll ALWAYS get a great meal. Pros: Great Food, Friendly Service Cons: Bad Allston Parking
