My husband and I were very excited to go to DBA's tonight after reading such great reviews. We were highly disappointed! It looked like a fun place when we arrived. The decor was typical BBQ joint. We ordered the brisket and pulled pork and boiled peanuts. The waiter said they were out of peanuts and didn't bother to offer any other suggestions for an appetizer. So we just waited on our dinner. The portions were very disappointing for the price. The pork was dry and the brisket had no flavor. The sauces were so-so. The cream corn was delicious and I would love to have the recipe. However, no chance asking the waiter,,,he was scare. No personality either! Didn't offer us dessert either,,,just laid the check down. We will not be back. Fox Bros is far better in price but especially taste and service.
