Review content:
I just had dinner at spencers with my spouse expecting it to be the best in SLC. As we walked in to be seated, the hostesses were goofing off and flirting with some guy, so we had to wait until they were finished before they seated us. Next our waiter came and talked too much about how broiling the steak is better than grilling, and what great quality their steak is. We ordered the shrimp and oysters to start out, the shimp was terrible. Once we made our dinner choices, our waiter had to correct us not to order the prime rib because the use only choice grade meat. So we took his advice and ordered the NY strip, and a ribeye. The Steaks were VERY AVERAGE, absolutely nothing special here. We also ordered The cheese hash, and asparagus for sides, also nothing special at all. We then asked for a dessert menu and were told we needed to wait, they'd tell us about the dessert menu once they had a chance, we waited about 10 minutes. That was when we asked for our bill. The service at Spencer's was So terrible we just wanted out of there. This was the worst steakhouse we had ever been too. The past couple of nights we've dined at Bambara, and Ruth's Chris in SLC, Both with Outstanding service, and great food. We left Spencer's VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
