Review content:
When I was in Memphis, I visited practically every barbecue joint around, each equally scrumptious, and delectable enough to give me a two week heavenly peek into what I'd been missing, having grown up Jewish, and in the North. When at Interstate Barbeque (arguably one of the best, or so said the locals), I was talking to the proprietor about how there was no good barbeque in LA, and he sent me to JR's (run by his nephew, I believe). Boy, it lives up, and continues to every time I visit! The ribs are perfec, the sauces (I like to get 'em on the side) are tangy and just exactly mild, medium, or hot. All of the people who work there as well as the patrons are friendly to boot! My suggestion? Call ahead for a slab or two (spareribs are my choice), and go early to the hollywood bowl and make a picnic out of it! Just don't forget to grab a bunch of napkins!
Pros: Fantastic ribs, people, and service!
Cons: Can't think of anything!
