Businiess name:  Walnut Theaters $5/$3

Review content:
I read the other reviews and those people must be crazy. I have been going to Walnut Theater for years. The manager is always polite but very brief. He handles the entire operation himself and does not have much time to be social. The popcorn is always less than 2 hours old or he throws it out. Many times he pops it after I go into the theater and brings it to me and the other customers while it is piping hot! This theater shows new releases and has the best sound of any theater in Texas. The parking lot always has open spaces. All movies are ONLY $5 for new releases! The place is always open when it is supposed to be. The board out front shows what is currently playing and when the movie starts. The manager appreciates it if you can show up at least 15 minutes before start time so he has a little leeway to get everything set up in the projector room. The only problem I have ever had is that the theater is tucked behind the bank and the flea market on Walnut east of Jupiter street. Nobody bothers you at the theater, you are safe.
