Review content:
I grew up in Westwood CA, which is where movies premiers are shown and are renowned as the best theaters in the country. I've traveled extensively and since I'm a movie buff I have sat in many theaters around the country/world. I moved to Dallas in Feb. 2008 and was referred to this theater by my girlfriend. At first, it was hard to find the theater since it's tucked away behind a bank and was hard to see. As I and my children entered the theater, the manager greeted us and asked which movie we?d like to see. I told him and he promptly made change and handed me the tickets. He then ran over to the concession stand and asked if we?d like popcorn, candy or a drink. I ordered a large popcorn and a drink. As he handed me the drink, he told me that he'd make the popcorn fresh for me and he'd bring it to me at my seat. The movie started and the manager quickly brought the popcorn to me, fresh, hot and cooked perfectly. As I watched the movie, I noticed that the sound was amazing inside the theater. The surround sound was as good as or better than I had heard before in much larger and much more expensive theaters around the country. When the movie was finished and I was exiting, the manager told me thank you for coming and to come again. I have since seen all the new release movies at this theater. This theater is better than the large chains since each person gets personal attention. Secondly, the sound system is second to none, especially in the Dallas area. Lastly, the manager operates the projector, sells the tickets and operates the concession stand all by himself. Amazing!
Pros: New releases, fresh popcorn, affordable, open parking, personal service, customer service
Cons: Location hard to see
