Review content:
After four days of a horrible sore throat and cough, I called my doctor to make an appointment for the next day, which was a Friday. They had nothing open, and I knew I couldn't go the entire weekend without some type of treatment. My assistant reminded me that our employer had just added the White Glove service to our health plan. I called them at 4:00 that afternoon, and they sent a nurse practioner to my home at 6:30 that night. What professional service! She did a complete health profile and a general examination (the same thing my doctor would have done). After diagnosing a sinus infection, she called in a prescription for an antibiotic and left me with a ""care package"" filled with soup, crackers, vitamin drinks, kleenix, cough drops, and several other items. This service allowed me to get treatment much sooner that I would have otherwise - without leaving my home and exposing myself to other sick people.
