Authentic Italian cooking by people who love what they do!
We didn't have reservations (please call ahead, it can often times get very busy), so we waited at the top of the stairs for seating. While waiting, we leafed through some photo albums that documented the travels of the restaurant owner and head chef. Most of the photos showed them enjoying food, wine and exploring the countryside to find the style of cooking they would like to bring home to Brookline. You could feel the love of their craft.
And it shows in the food.
You simply can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Ask your server for their specials. These tend to be very seasonal.
Order a cocktail as well, their bartender has excellent taste when pairing cocktails to your order, so ask your server for suggestions that can be based on your order.
Pros: Amazing Italian with great cocktails!
