I'm surprised to see negative comments about Impressions. Alteration problems happen everwhere... everyone knows that alterations are done by hand, and humans are not perfect. One of the BEST THINGS about Impressions is the fact they will only sell one prom dress to EACH HIGH SCHOOL. If you go to Group USA, or somewhere in the mall you bet they will sell multiple dresses to your school, and you'll end up spending all that money and match someone - embarrassing! I agree she should have checked before taking your measurments but you should be happy that your daughter is not going to match someone @ her school when you are spending hundreds of dollars. My experience at Impressions was perfect... they did not have the exact dress I was looking for but showed me very similar dresses that were pretty but I decided to order the original one I liked in the book. I'm so glad I did! It came in last week and i loooooove it.
