My elderly father was scheduled for his first appointment on a Sunday at 6:00 p.m. - he was referred by his PCP. After my father and mother arrive and fill out the registration paperwork, (there was no receptionist in sight), they watch two other patients be taken back, after they've waited for an hour and a half, the doctor came out to the waiting area with his appt. book and informed my father that he ISN'T ON THE SCHEDULE!!! And so pencils him in on the following Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. - when the recording on the outgoing machine says they are only open until 8:00 p.m. Mon-Thurs! My father finally finally finally agreed to seek psychiatric help and his first experience is this?!?!?!? All after waiting for an entire MONTH for the initial appointment! DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE - and tell your referring provider to not refer to this sham of a practice again.
