I have been a happy customer of this restaurant for over twenty years, and can tell you unequivocally that Mayur has THE best Indian Food in California. As a former RE Manager for a major oil company, I've sampled Indian fare from Sacramento to San Diego, and Mayur beats them all. Chicken Makhani, a specialty here, is simply sublime, and embellished with edible (totally safe)silver foil and covered in a tomato based sauce that's been cooked for hours, and unsurpassed in texture, taste and quality. Mayur's lamb dishes have a depth and range that make choosing a difficult task. Likewise, Mayur's Bharta, and Aloo Gobi are vegetarian specialites that are a cut above, normal Indian fare. The restaurant's choice in quality ingredients and long held family recipes make this my favorite restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
