Businiess name:  Alegria On Sunset

Review content:
I used to live right up the street from Alegria and I went there at least once a week and thought it was the best Mexican food in LA. I no longer live up the street so I don't go nearly as much as I used to, but I still go frequently and the place has unfortunately gone downhill. Things just aren't as good as they used to be. Sometimes the food is dry, sometimes over-salted, sometimes just not fresh. My biggest pet peeve is when they give you their pica de gallo and it's basically a bowl of onions. This place needs to get it's groove back. The menu is still great, the service is usually okay, but it seems like they've lost some pride in their work. Pros: the best mexican in the city, fresh made juices, amazing potato tacos, BYOB Cons: Sometimes there can be a wait to sit down
