Review content:
Gefer Farms is an old fashioned grocery and deli with a focus on European and Armenian specialities. It's a block west of Alameda on SF Rd. There is a great selection of produce and fruit at 1/2 the big store price and the deli has a fantastic selection of meat, sausage and cheese. Staff is friendly and my kids love exploring for unusual treats. Note: For some reason the prices in the Glendale store aren't as good and my wife won't go there even though it's a larger and newer location.
Pros: friendly, value, exotic
Cons: closes early
