Maybe it's because I'm a reformed smoker... but why can't these pubs get some decent ventiliation? The Cherry Cricket did it. It went from one of the smokiest to a very tolerable level after Hickenlooper took over.
The Bull and Bush offers a terrific atmosphere to look at but not to breath. I believe they offer a non-smoking section. But, as always, this is a room off of the main pub with all the ambience of a Country Buffet.
I've taken my business to the Squelin' Pig. The place is non-smoking inside. That includes the bar and main rooms. What a treat.
Pros: Good Beer, Good People
