Businiess name:  Mangia Pizza
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I've had Lou Malnati's and Gino's East in Chicago and Mangia compares favorably in every way, except that Lou's has a slightly denser and more buttery crust which I prefer. Mangia also has exotic toppings, such as gardiniera peppers, which those places lack. Many so-called pizza connoisseurs feel that NY style (flat, wide slices w/ extreme grease which will drip off the slice if it's held point-down) is the only true pizza. These folks will hate Mangia and are better off going to Saccone's. For the rest of us, Mangia is clearly the best pizza offering in the city and I suspect in a blind taste test it would beat most of its Chicago native competition. The service is also exceptional. I've had waitresses give me a 50% discount because they misheard my topping selection; this is very much the Austin way. Pros: quality, service
