Hopefully this place has gotten better. I went here a few years ago for some highlights. The staff was very nice/pleasant, but my hairdresser was awful. I wanted some natural-looking highlights. After applying the color and foils, she put me under a heat lamp and disappeared for several minutes. This lamp was literally 3-4"" from the top of my head; was BLAZINGLY hot. Before I knew it my hair was smoking. The heavy lamp was pushed up behind my chair and I was seated at a counter, so I really had nowhere to go. I bent forward and yelled to get someone's attention, and a staff member rushed off to get my hairdresser, who quickly removed the foil from my hair (the foil was so hot it was burning her hands). My scalp was badly burned while under the lamp and during the process of taking out the hot foils. She was very apologetic and seemed quite upset with the fact that I was injured, but how careless can you be? The salon didn't charge me for the services (if you can call it that), but that was all they offered to do. Really hope nothing like this has happened to anyone else. Cons: Unprofessionalism
