Review content:
When we got to Jimmy Seas, it was clear that the chaos had ensued hours earlier, and clusters of patrons paced back and forth angrily awaiting their tables. The hostess had no idea what she was doing, and she gave people's tables away when she wasn't supposed to, etc. It was a mess and there were lots of perturbed people around. We ended up having to wait about a little over an hour for a table, which is to be expected pretty much anywhere on a Friday night. The service inside was not good either, as all the servers were rushed and not very pleasant. We started with the roasted garlic appetizer, which was tasty. We split the Chicken Hazel dish (they charge $7.50 for splitting) as our entree, but there was so much food that we even had leftovers to take home. Granted, the entree (before the splitting fee) was $24, so it was nice to get a decent amount of food for that price. The entree was absolutely delicious, a perfect balance of flavors. We didn't have room for dessert, and we didn't have money left for dessert either - the appetizer, the one entree, one iced tea, tax, and tip set us back over $50. So yeah, it's pricey (but pretty much everything on the Vineyard is), the lines are long, and the service is subpar, but boy do they make up for their shortcomings with the food. Pros: Excellent food Cons: bad service, long lines, expensive
