I've had the opportunity to sample facials in a number of settings from the highest end pampering to the no frills, get-the-job-done facials. Gentle Star and Craig Shisido are the perfect combination. There is a comfort level at Gentle Star, and a personal service that is difficult to find in many environments these days. Craig is clearly skilled and knowledgeable about his craft. He cleaned every pore on my face individually...I left there, not puffy and red as might be expected, but with firm, clean, radiant skin. Nikko is a dream...sincerely friendly. The only reason I don't give Gentle Star a 10 at this point is because I haven't had the good fortune to experience all of their services. They're fantastic.
