Review content:
Abigail's is the type of place I so wish we had in my neighborhood (South Beach), but fortunately my gym is right around the corner to there so I stop in at least a few times a week to pick up post-workout treats (and no doubt, undo some of the good I did working out. Sigh.). The service is friendly, and everything I've had there has been homestyle, comfort food great. The pecan rolls, pineapple bran muffins, eclairs and raspberry pastries are DELISH to die for, so fresh and tasty. My friend and I also had lunch there a few times, and the prices are so reasonable we were delighted! French fries (again, undo-ing any good I've done) were fresh, club sandwich was huge, cobb salad and more were all great. (Compare that with Houston's, where you can basically get the same things at 2x the cost.) They also have a nice set-up so you can eat outside and bring Fido, too.
Pros: Neighborhood place, Very reasonsable prices, Food is terrific
Cons: Parking, Indoor atmosphere so-so, It's in the Marina
