Review content:
My wife, brother and I went to Le Frite on the way home from the UCLA basketball game on Saturday night. We had reservations at 7:30 and we were seated promptly, the server came to us promptly. My wife and brothe had the filet mignon with le frites and it was delicious and the shallot sauce was excellent. I had the New York with le frite with brandy sauce and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. I also had the hearts of palm appetizer and it was outstanding. Two other reviews from Biobabe and Sanjeev G I don't understand. They must be spoiled to the core at home because our service and food was outstanding and even though we live in the San Gabriel Valley, we intend to return to Le Frite and recommend it to some of our friends. And also, yes there is valet parking, but if Biobabe had read the sign, it also says you can self park, in bold letters. So wake up Biobabe, there is another world besides your own. Thanks Le Frite for a very nice evening. Pros: Food, ease of parking in back, service Cons: None, it is a old style French restaurant so it is small and busy
