Review content:
We bought hardwood flooring from Bradleys in Apex. We asked the salesman for and were quoted the price of a Shaw hardwood floor. Salesman wrote ""Shaw"" and name of the individual Shaw line we had purchased on our sales invoice. After having the floor down for about 6 months, we noticed that several boards had cracked. We called Bradleys and were told the owner and his installer would inspect. Only the installer showed up and he said we had put too much water onto the floor while cleaning and that Bradley's wasn't responsible. I then called Shaw's customer service line ask about this and discovered that Shaw wasn't really even the manufacturer of our floor! We then spoke w/the office mgr at Bradley's who again confirmed that they had installed a Shaw floor in our home. When we told her that a Shaw rep confirmed that Shaw DID NOT produce our floor, she put us on hold...she came back and said that we needed to look under Somersetfloors for info about our flooring. I discoved our floor was made by a private company in TN which is in no way affiliated with Shaw. I the asked to meet w/Bradley's owner. He came to our house and confirmed that the boards were defective and offered to replace the individual boards only. I told him we had been deceived by his sales staff and had been quoted and indeed had on our sales invoice that we would have a Shaw floor. But, only through my research had I discovered that the floor was a cheaper floor--NOT Shaw!. He became very upset and began yelling that he wasn't sure why his rep had quoted a Shaw floor nor why he had written it on the invoice because his store didn't even sell Shaw hardwood floors (yet his website says they do, but it NEVER mentions selling Somerset floors!) Cons: Deceptive sales staff and terrible customer service and support
