I went to Chamber's for a friends brithday. We called a week or so before to make reservations, and on the phone they were very snobby about reserving space for our group of 12. When we got there, they actually had a big table all ready for us...but then it took more than a half hour JUST to recieve our drinks. The place was certainly busy, but by no means packed (lots of empty tables). The server was very nice, which made up for how slow everything was coming out. Our appetizers were all delicious (bacon wrapped shrimp, tuna), but the food was VERY mediocre. I ordered lobster, and it was so rubbery and chewy, I had to use a knife to cut it up. Striped bass and halibut were just ok. Best dinner items we ordered were the pork chop and sirloin steak. I would recommend Chambers for appetizers and drinks on the 5th floor, but not for a nice dinner.
Pros: ultra cool interior, mostly friendly service, great appetizers
Cons: very slow service, very average food for the value
