I don't even live in Athens anymore, but made a point to get to Shenanigan's Salon with my 2 kids in tow as well while in town. Beth & Jessica were both friendly and patient and made the experience so pleasant. The salon is new with great artwork by Jessica! And all the equipment and everything is brand new and clean! My 2 year old son got a great cut of his shaggy, wild hair. My 4 year old daughter has blonde curls and Beth really helped keep a lot of length and curls while giving it shape and style; it really looks great and healthy! When it was my turn, Beth really listened to what I said (I don't take time to do ANYTHING to my hair beyond washing it!) and didn't try to force a cut I couldn't maintain or products I wouldn't use on me. She was very skilled and I ended up with a very stylish, but manageable hairSTYLE (not just cut!). It's very different from anything I've had before, but I love the way it falls and moves - and she took a lot of the bulk and weight off, but kept length, just like I asked for. Thanks, ladies! I would definitely tell folks to check this place out.
