I still LOVE my hair! 6/25/2011

I absolutely love my hair cut! At past places, I would love my hair when I first walk out of the salon and then question my decision about a day or so later. It has been two weeks now and I still LOVE IT! I also get compliments on it all the time. more

Such tact 3/23/2011

Jessica is the most professional stylist i have ever met and she is very personable. She is also skilled at cutting hair and she risked giving me a cut i wanted with the upmost grace. Cant thank her enough. The salon is in a great location with very good natural light. more

BEST SALON....EVER!!!!! 10/12/2010

Shenanigans is the best salon around...from the most awesome group of girls who are not only extremely talented, but also very friendly...to the most professional stylists that really know what they are doing. I have gone to Beth for years now, and she has always given me exactly what I want. As soon as I walk in the door, she's ready and waiting on me and always knows exactly what to do. It's almost like she can read my mind in what I'm asking for when it comes to my hair. The atmosphere is very fun and you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. The girls here are not only your stylists, but your friend as well. I will not go anywhere else to have my hair done as long as Shenanigans is open! more

Wonderful Place to be Pampered 8/18/2010

This is a great place with fun people, and oh, by the way, they really know how to cut hair. I love that I can say ""not too short"" and I get exactly what I want! It's fun, very reasonably priced, and I've even liked the products I've purchased there. They are all great people there! I highly recommend them! more

The Best Hair Salon in Athens 8/12/2010

I highly recommend giving Shenanigans Salon a try if you are looking for a haircut worth the price. There are a lot of salons in Athens that are overpriced, snooty sorority hangouts; Shenanigans is not. The staff is down to earth, professional, and most importantly, personable. Ask for Erin Calle, she's awesome. more

I was so excited to find Erin Calle at Shenanigans, she cut my hair last year & I will never again let anyone else touch it. We both have very fine hair & so she knows all the best tricks for volume! From the moment I entered Shenanigans Salon I was provided with elite service. My stylist, Jessica, was extremely skilled and knowledgable in every aspect of hair! She took the time to educate me on all the products and styling techniques she used from a scientific standpoint. Needless to say I absolutely love all my new Paul Mitchell products. My hair looks the best it's ever been and I'll certainly be back in 8-12 weeks for another cut!!! Pros: Very professional, Great environment more

Wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair 4/13/2010

I struggled to find a stylist that I could rely on in Athens. I went to many places: Rage, BOB, and City salons without ever returning. I found Erin when she was working at Karma and followed her to Shenanigans! Every time she has cut and colored my hair, I have loved it! The color she puts in my hair is always rich and natural looking. In the past I felt like light colors looked streaky and out of place in my hair, but Erin has added blonde to my hair that just makes it look like bright, natural highlights. My cuts are always flattering to my face and easy to style on my own. She has cut my hair perfectly whether it was extremely long or a little shorter than shoulder length. Absolutely Incredible 3/31/2010

Walking into the salon I was immediately struck by the friendly atmosphere. The decor is simple, but striking, and the stylists immediately welcomed me flashing warm smiles. My haircut was incredibly affordable, and the hair wash and accompanying head massage left me feeling like I was getting 5 star spa treatment. And the ladies are nothing short of stunning. Since I first got my hair cut at Shenanigans I have had more female attention than I can possibly manage. In me they have a customer for life! I've been loyal the two stylists that just founded this salon for a few years now, and they have never let me down. Several of my friends also go to those stylists, male and female, and they've never had a bad experience with them either. I definitely recommend checking out their new business. Friendly and Talented 3/7/2010

I don't even live in Athens anymore, but made a point to get to Shenanigan's Salon with my 2 kids in tow as well while in town. Beth & Jessica were both friendly and patient and made the experience so pleasant. The salon is new with great artwork by Jessica! And all the equipment and everything is brand new and clean! My 2 year old son got a great cut of his shaggy, wild hair. My 4 year old daughter has blonde curls and Beth really helped keep a lot of length and curls while giving it shape and style; it really looks great and healthy! When it was my turn, Beth really listened to what I said (I don't take time to do ANYTHING to my hair beyond washing it!) and didn't try to force a cut I couldn't maintain or products I wouldn't use on me. She was very skilled and I ended up with a very stylish, but manageable hairSTYLE (not just cut!). It's very different from anything I've had before, but I love the way it falls and moves - and she took a lot of the bulk and weight off, but kept length, just like I asked for. Thanks, ladies! Hair done right the first time! 3/3/2010

I have been a client of Erin?s for about 4 years and I am willing to follow her anywhere. I have never gotten up out of her chair feeling like I didn?t get what I want or not liking it. Erin has an amazing talent for doing your hair and knowing what will look good even when you don?t. I sometimes will go to get my hair done not having a clue what I want to do. I sit in her chair and tell Erin to do whatever she wants color cut whatever. My hair is in Erin?s hands and it has been wonderful every time! I always get compliments on my hair. This last time I went to see her after months and months (trying to save money) and my hair has gotten very long and I thought I wanted to cut it off and Erin said no and that I would regret it?and she was right again! So if you are looking for someone who is professional, experienced and just knows how your hair should be?call Erin! Pros: Erin makes you feel like a million bucks! Cons: I haven't found one yet...and don't plan on it! more

I'd Follow Erin Anywhere 3/2/2010

I've been going to Erin Calle at Karma for over two years. Recently she moved to Shenanigans Salon and I came with her. I'd follow her to Atlanta if she decided to do her thing there. I see her every four weeks. Erin does an outstanding job on my color and cut every time. She listens and tells me her professional opinion of what I want done. Best stylists for finicky clients 3/2/2010

I have never really been satisfied with haircuts in the past; I hate styling/drying my hair, have very specific criteria, and never really knew how to tell a stylist exactly what I wanted. Both Jessica and Beth have done my hair for several years, and they always ask lots of questions to make sure they know exactly what I want, and I know what the end result will be. They work with my hair and face to give me a style better than I expected that requires little to no maintenance. I continue to get compliments on the color Beth put in recently, it works with the style so beautifully and is both subtle and obvious at the same time. Best salon in Athens!!! 3/2/2010

I've never had anyone cut my (very thick, wavy) hair as well as Erin Calle - I appreciate her skill so much that I tracked her down at Shenanigans after she left Karma. I just had highlights done today and I'm so thrilled! The tone of the highlights is beautiful - Erin is amazing with the color. None of those brassy/copper streaks you often get when lifting dark brown hair like mine - just brilliant golden blonde. She really listens to her customers. I HIGHLY recommend Shenanigans if you're looking for a professional, friendly, and talented stylist in Athens. Pros: Very professional & down-to-earth, very friendly, good $ Cons: none at all! more
