Review content:
Fort Lauderdale Opa is an amazing place for having a party similar to my Big Fat Greek Wedding. It is an absolute delightfully orchestrated chaos where 250 people join you and your group in celebrating whatever it is you're celebrating. 35 of us had our rehearslal dinner this past Saturday and danced on the tables as the servers were throwing napkins in the air, the belly dancer doing her thing, and the owners making sure everything was perfect. The most amazing thing was their traditional fire dance in the middle of their floor with a dozen people taking a knee and surrounding the dancers and rythmically hitting their plates just before everyone started breaking them in a festive frenzy. Unbelievable ! The food is undoubtedly the most delicious and authentic Greek food we ever had. Go there.
Pros: Your Group is never too small for a huge party - cause everyone joins in !
Cons: If you are scared to have fun, or dance on the tables, or of loud music.
