Review content:
On a recent visit to Cafe Primo recently I was looking across the street and realized that this charming strip around Sunset Plaza Drive reminds me a little bit of the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas... that faux European look of little houses with greek columns. This is the perfect setting for what feels like a trendy italian cafe and sandwich place. Cafe Primo is situated at the east end of that section, but it is getting a new neighbor in H&M which is opening soon, and it has another important neighbor - Equinox Gym of West Hollywood, which means the crowd is also very interesting. It has great indoor and outdoor seatings, and even the inside is all open and feel very airy. Modern dark wood furniture is the setting for healthy paninis, soups, and salads, and some hot dishes too, and a full italian espresso bar. You can pick something up or lounge around for hours I see quite a few people there lingering around on their iMacs. My office is nearby so we often pick up sandwiches for lunch - the tuna arichoke is a great sandwich, as is the tortilla soup but it will destroy your arteries it is too rich. Everythying else feels fairly healthy in that Italian kind of way... yes there is bread but the ingredients are wholesome so you don't feel very guilty. A really nice place to chill out by yourself or with a friend.
