Businiess name:  Marina Fitness
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Most of the workout equipment is outdated. Marina Fitness's TV stations' tune satellite system was ""stolen"" (over 6 months) ago and promises to replace them have gone unnoticed. As a result, there is only one working TV and the others display subscripts on one station only. So you have to be a great lip reader or face watcher to understand what's going on. A big sign says ""Tune to station 97.5 - don't bother it doesn't work."" If you take too many showers, an employee takes notice. The General Manager plays favorites, terrorizes staff, and claims ""some of his best friends are blacks."" Sometimes the drink machine will give you a drink for your $2, but most time it just keeps it. Oh, the General Manager refuses to put up a warning sign because of those ""rare times"" the machine actually works, though the front desk does not give refunds. They have towel service, but I called it ""rag"" service. If you leave your car keys, there is a 70% chance they'll give you a rag-towel that the Salvation Army wouldn't accept for a donation but they would make good car-wash days. Pros: The view of the marina is wonderful. It's small private. Cons: Clan-ish. Flashy Fakey unfriendly people. GM - Koo Koo.
