Review content:
This gym is kind of a mixed bag. Seems about on par cost-wise with other gyms in the area. It's definitely an older facility, with especially well-worn free weight gear. In my opinion, they have too much variety in free weight equipment with not enough core items. For instance, not enough flat benches, no dedicated incline bench, etc., but they do have some fairly specialized stuff. The facility is older and kind of dingy, not the most welcoming place ever. It's kind of hard to get jazzed about going to work out there every day. The facility is also layed out kind of strangely, with stuff seemingly crammed into ever nook and cranny. The cardio areas get especially hot because of this layout issue. The coolest things are the cardio machines overlooking the marina and the full-height heavy bags for kickboxing workouts. They also have reasonably priced raquetball courts.
Pros: Good location
Cons: Very dated , Limited free weights
