What a pleasant surprise! I have to admit that my eyebrows raised when our company announced that our fall conference would be at the Lakeway Inn. To me it sounded like a mom & pop operation.
BUT...when I arrived, I was just delighted! Just driving into the entrance to the resort you knew you were someplace special. Both the landscaping, the view are wonderful! When I checked in, the staff was gracious and attentive. They even upgraded me when they found out that I was receiving an award at the conference!
The whole experience was great - especially the awards dinner we had on the Yacht! What a treat!
The sunset cruise paired well with the wonderful food.
I will definitely pass the word about this hidden treasure!
