I called a dealership to have a windshield replaced on a minivan and was quoted $1000.00 and that didn't include labor. Don't know if because I am female if they thought i'd have them do it? I was extremely upset because of the price and decided to call around a few places to get more prices. The first place I came across did not replace windshields, only repaired them. But the lady I spoke with gave the name of Alteri glass and said they were WONDERFUL and TRUST WORTHY. So I called and talked to Steve who was VERY nice and after he listened to me babble on about the cost and being upset about it......he told me not to worry and bring it in on Monday (this was on Friday)...and he also told me the cost would only be $159.00....wow! Big difference from the dealership price. AND it was replaced on Moday and ready EXACTLY when he told me it would be. A+++++ customer service and will spread the word! THANKS!!!
