Review content:
I am writing this tip as a WARNING to all pet owners not to use the services of Dr. Long. We were refered to County Line as a great place to take your pets for treatment and care. Over a four year period of time I had questioned my spouse over the high priced billing that occured. We both were reasured by Dr. Long that she was the expert and knows whats best. Under her care, we have two small dogs. One developed an eye infection. Every six months they went in for there check ups. During this time Dr. Long stated that there was no problems with eyes of our first pet. At the end of four years our dog was nearly blind. Our other wienner dog had a toe nail growing crooked. We were told that this was normal for that type of breed. When our dog started to limp, we decieded to take Oscar into Dr. Longs office. She came into the room looked at his foot for about 30 seconds and stated he had cancer and his whole foot needed to be amputated. She sent an assistant back into the room with an estimate for $800.00! and that did not inclued the charge of $250.00 for the visit which total time was less than 15 minutes! When I asked for an explanation as to why she said on the previous two visits she determined the toe nail to be ""normal"", she became very hostile and aerogant towards my spouse and I. I wanted an opinion from an old country doc, and we are glad we did. Oscar had a sist under his toe nail and the only amputation that occured was the toe nail itself. The total cost for the exam, treatment, and anti-biotics; $179.00 and no cancer! Snickers was taken in as well and he has gained half of his eye sight back with medication. This warning is to all pet owners, BEWARE OF THIS BUTCHER SHOP of PROFITS BEFORE PETS!
