Review content:
Stay Away from Capwest! Capwest seemed to have a good online application process and the sales rep I got connected with through the Costco website seemed to be knowledgeable and helpful. I provided all of my information and the loan went through underwriting. Everything was approved and closing was scheduled -- but 24 hours prior to closing the underwriter came back and required a condo questionairre to be completed. As it turns out, our association is still in the hands of the developer because the subdivision is still being completed. As a result -- no refinance. No refund of the application fee. Just hung out to dry after going through the process for 50 days. No appeal process. You'd think that they'd ask for this information up front, but apparently one day before closing is a good time to ask.
