I have two opinions on Community Hospital! One is good and one is bad! If you are there for out patient surgery...in other words, you are NOT in the emergency room...this hospital is good. I've had several out patient surgeries at Community Hospital and have always been pleased. HOWEVER...if you need to go to their Emergency Room...if you aren't bleeding profusely or if you aren't breathing...you WILL WAIT FOR HOURS! We've been to this ER three times...twice we waited 3 hours to see a doctor (and there were not many people there...this was the middle of the night). The third time was my husband having a kidney stone attack (we thought it was his appendix). He was in screaming pain and they wanted him to fill out forms...they would not let me do it for him. It took him throwing up on the admitting desk to get the ball rolling...they immediately took him back to see a doctor! We have never been impressed with the ER.
