I would give Gentle Giant Moving Company 6-star ratings if I could. We have used them 4 or 5 times to move us back and forth from Lufkin, Texas to West Hollywood, California, and we have not had one bad experience. They were wonderful every time.
Not only did they move all of our furniture but they were so helpful in making our moving experiences much easier. The first man that came out and estimated the cost was frank and courteous. He knew what he was doing and did not make us feel pressured.
We actually went and met with the Gentle Giant staff in Hawthorne because we wanted to meet the people who would be moving our stuff. I dealt mainly with Patricia, who was fabulous.
Everyone else was good, too, from the packers to the loaders to the drivers. They were very careful when they boxed everything, especially some nice paintings that we own. We really trusted them.
One time, when we had to store our stuff, they were helpful in making the arrangements and getting our belongings out of our apartment quickly and on time.
Price-wise, they are tops because they gave us advice on how to help lower the cost. Patricia got us as many used boxes as she could, which really helped with the price.
We have continued to use Gentle Giant Moving Company because of their very personalized service. They made us feel as if we were their only customers.
