Review content:
Putting our mother in an Assisted Living Facility was a very emotional and difficult process. We will be forever grateful to many of the staff at the Oaks who treated our mother with kindness and concern. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about the director and owner of The Oaks. They were very kind and welcoming before we moved our mother into the Oaks but became confrontational, autocratic and inflexible after she was a resident. Our mother has now been in a different facility for a little over 3 months and the director and staff of her current facility have been wonderful. I would advise anyone looking for an Assisted Living Facility for a family member to avoid The Oaks. Their management team, in our experience, showed a glaring lack of compassion and concern for residents and their families going through this difficult transition.
Pros: Caregivers
Cons: Management/Owner
