i CALLED DIX AUTO PARTS AFTER GETTING THEIR INFO OFF OF CAR-PARTS I TALKED TO THE SALES LADY WHO ASSURED ME THEY HAD MY PART (FUEL PUMP FOR MY MERCEDES) SHE CONFIRMED THEY HAD THE PART AND TOOK MY INFORMATION TO ENSURE I GET THE PART. I TOLD HER I WOULD BE THERE IN A COUPLE HRS I WAS COMING FROM GRAND RAPIDS MI, SHE CONFIRMED AND SAID THE PART WOULD BE WAITING ON ME. UPON ARIVAL I SAT IN THE OFFICE WAITING FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES BEFORE ANYONE CAME OUT TO HELP. THE SALES LADY CALLED FOR THE MECHANIC WHO SAID HE WAS OUT TO LUNCH AND DIDN'T CARE IF I GOT THE PART OR NOT I COULD HEAR THIS OVER THEIR 2-WAY RADOI. ANOTHER GENTLEMEN COME IN TOOK THE ORDER SHEET AND RADIOED BACK AFTER ABOUT TEN MINUTES SAYING THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE FUEL PUMP! I WAS PISSED 21/2 HRS EACH WAY AND THEN SHE HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME TO LET HER ORDER ME ONE THIS PLACE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISREGUARDING TO PEOPLE AND WHAT WE HAVE TO GO THRU WHEN WE ARE LIED TO JUST TO GET US TO COME IN TO THEIR SHOP HOPING THEY CAN SELL US SOMETHING OR ANYTHING AND GAS IS TOO HIGH TO MAKE A 5 HR TRIP BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE THE PROFESSIONALISM TO KEEP YOUR INVENTORY UPDATED! NE3VER AGAIN WILL I GO HERE!
